Protecting the lives of American citizens is the number one responsibility of the US government. That is why I will continue to fight to ensure our country’s military is the world’s best. This means preparing for both the wars of today, and any potential threat that may be posed in the future.
Home to Naval Station Mayport, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Camp Blanding, and Blount Island, and a robust military industrial base, Northeast Florida is one of the focal points of our national defense strategy. As our Navy incorporates its plan to diversify the fleet on the East Coast of the U.S., our role will continue to grow. Our future is indeed bright, and I will work to ensure we are ready for any task our nation may ask of us.
