WASHINGTON - In light of the on-going escalation of violence in and around Nagorno-Karabakh, Congressman Crenshaw issues the following statement:
“I strongly urge both sides to end hostilities and commit to pursuing a just and lasting settlement and peace, involving all parties, through the OSCE Minsk Group – regardless of who initiated the current round of hostilities” Crenshaw said. “The reported involvement of regional powers, directly and indirectly, will only cause the situation to escalate and could lead to a devastating regional conflict. The reports of intentionally targeting civilian centers and protected sites must stop immediately.”
