Congressman Dan Crenshaw Announces Senior Staff Of D.C. Office

WASHINGTON, D.C.> – Congressman Dan Crenshaw announced the senior staff of his D.C. operation. Both his D.C. and Houston offices are now fully staffed.>

Eliza Baker – Chief of Staff>

Eliza previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Senator Tom Cotton (AR).  Prior to that, she worked with various non-profits, including the American Cancer Society. Before leaving for the private sector, Eliza served on Capitol Hill for nearly ten years. She previously worked in the offices of Representatives Tom Cotton (AR-04), Virginia Foxx (NC-05), Tom Feeney (FL-24) and Charlie Norwood (GA-10), three of which she played a crucial role in establishing brand new offices. In addition to her experience on the hill, Eliza spent a cycle doing PAC fundraising. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a native of Gainesville, Georgia.>

Matt Hodge – Legislative Director>

Matt, a San Antonio native, has worked on Capitol Hill for over a decade, specializing in national security, budget, tax, trade and appropriations policy.  He formerly worked for Congressman Tom Graves (GA-14), who is ranking member of the Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee and a member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.  He previously worked for Rep. Austin Scott (GA-08) as his Legislative Director and for former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor as a policy staffer in his personal and leadership offices.  Matt earned his Master’s in International Trade Policy from George Mason University and his BA in Business & Economics from Christopher Newport University.  He has completed graduate studies at the Army War College. In addition to working on Capitol Hill, he served in the U.S. Navy, where he graduated from the U.S. Navy Diving School. >

Kerry Rom – Communications Director>

Kerry joins the team after serving as Director of Media Affairs at the National Republican Congressional Committee. Prior to the NRCC, Kerry worked in communications at the Republican National Committee and for Governor Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign. Before joining the Bush campaign, she worked in the political arm of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce during the 2014 cycle, when the GOP made historic gains. Kerry is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania. She is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina.>

Danny Walden – Administrative Director>

Danny joins the D.C. office after serving as an aide for Crenshaw’s campaign. Prior to joining Team Crenshaw, Danny was campaign manager for Texas State Representative Sarah Davis’ re-election campaign. He has ten years of experience working on federal, state, and local campaigns in Houston.  Danny, a Houston native,  is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio.>
